Fort Lauderdale, FL – August 4, 2014 – Global aerospace leader GA Telesis, LLC (“GA Telesis”), in conjunction with Make-A-Wish® Southern Florida, has committed to granting the wish of a six-year-old West Park girl named Giselle.

To children with life-threatening medical conditions, Make-A-Wish provides a much-needed escape from the world of doctor and hospital visits. Giselle, who suffers from kidney disease, will have her wish granted this month. The GA Telesis Florida employees from two Fort Lauderdale locations and one Miami location raised a total of $2,500 in one day. The company then matched the employee donations with an additional $2,500 for a total of $5,000, which will be used to underwrite Giselle’s wish to go to the Nickelodeon Hotel in Orlando, Florida.

Once at the hotel, Giselle will get to meet up with her favorite group of genetically mutated crime fighters, the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. In addition to meeting her favorite animated character, Donatello, Giselle will receive the VIP treatment during a tour of other Orlando area theme parks, following a Ninja Turtles themed party with her new friends at GA Telesis headquarters in Fort Lauderdale. The GA Telesis team is proud to help make Giselle’s dream come true.

“There is no greater advocate for granting the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions than Make-A-Wish Southern Florida,” said Abdol Moabery, President of GA Telesis. “When we shared the idea of granting Giselle’s wish with our team, every single team member contributed to making sure she could realize her wish,” he added.

GA Telesis has a long history of giving back to the community. The company and its founder have donated and directed millions of dollars to charitable organizations that directly impact the lives of children.
